Desktop computer applications such as Outlook, Windows Mail, Mac Mail, Thunderbird,...
Smartphone applications such as Outlook, iOS Mail, Gmail,...
can all be used to synchronise your latest e-mails, contacts, calendars from the Microsoft Exchange (Office365) server on your device (smartphone, tablet, computer) in off-line mode.
You need to set-up these apps to retrieve the data in the O365 as follows:
- Go to the app of your choice and launch the procedure to add a new account.
- You might need to tell your app that your Lapauw O365 account works with Microsoft Exchange technology (not Outlook online, not Gmail, not iCloud)
- If sync settings do not configure automatically, you might have to configure manually and fill in the IMAP or SMTP server settings for incoming and outgoing e-mail which you find here:
- IMAP:
- Server name: outlook.office365.com
- Port: 993
- Encryption method: TSL
- SMTP:
- Server name: outlook.office365.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption method: TSL
- POP: (old technology, not recommended because it only 'downloads' from the server, but does NOT 'synchronise' with the server)
- IMAP:
